We recently developed the William Smith Maps – Interactive website (sponsored by UKOGL), which features a ‘live’ interactive map viewer that enables users to not only view the maps, but also overlay one against another and compare them with modern day geology, wells, seismic sections, and current topographic maps. Users can also display Smith’s geological sections and view 3D animations of his maps.
